Mommy Meet-Up’s

Mommy Meet-Ups (MMU) exists to serve Mission Bible Church Moms and their families by providing fun, safe, and accessible environments where moms can connect and kids can play!

  • Fun

    Mommy Meet-Ups are for the kids, too! We want the kiddos to look forward to MMUs just as much as their moms, so we’ve selected parks that kids of all ages can enjoy.

  • Safe

    Safety is our top priority. Our team carefully selected parks that they know and trust. Many of the moms live in nearby communities and use these parks on a regular basis.

  • Accessible

    While our church gathers in Gilbert, we are scattered throughout the East Valley and beyond! Given this reality, we’ve selected a rotation of parks between Queen Creek, Gilbert, and Chandler to lighten your commutes!

Connect

We understand that motherhood can feel lonely or overwhelming. Because of this, we want MMUs to be a place where moms of different stages can connect. Here are some of the ways this happens:

  • We understand that coming to a new church can be hard. Finding time to connect with moms adds to the challenge. Mommy Meet-Ups takes the pressure off of new moms by creating a space to meet and “close the gap” between new and “veteran” moms.

  • As disciples, we’re always learning. Mommy Meet-Ups are a great place to observe moms who are “further along,” ask questions, and receive biblical encouragement.

  • New friendships often begin in groups, but deep friendships are cultivated in one-on-one environments. Mommy Meet-Ups serve as launching points for moms to connect at a later time (e.g., over coffee, brunch, etc.) and deepen friendships.

  • Moms are busy and opportunities to connect with friends can be rare. Mommy Meet-Ups occur every third Friday of the month (with a summer break) and serve as a fixed opportunity to check in and catch up with friends with whom you stand shoulder-to-shoulder on the mission field of motherhood.

  • As Christians, we are refreshed by one another’s presence. Mommy Meet-Ups are no exception! Come be refreshed by like-minded moms who seek to raise their children to the glory of God!
